Alexandria, Lucas & Andrew – Family Portraiture, Ambergris Caye, Belize

“Peace, love and sandy feet”…..This quote comes to mind when I think of my afternoon with Alexandria and her sweet twins Lucas and Andrew. Alexandria is from San Ignacio, Belize and I met her a few weeks ago in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye through mutual friends. She works at a hotel where I used to work and when she showed me a photo of her adorable twin boys we decided a photo session was definitely in our near future!

I spent a gorgeous afternoon cruising around San Pedro with Alexandria and her twins. Alexandria told me that since they were little the boys were known around town as the ‘Tarzan Twins’ as they have lots of fun energy! These boys were adorable, sweet and so very happy! Every time we jumped back in the golf cart for our next location they cheered on for the ‘next adventure!’ We cruised around San Pedro and visited all of their favorite locations…..the docks, the playground in San Pedro square, the ocean front, and the sun soaked docks at the lagoon. The gorgeous light changed throughout the afternoon and eventually the sun dipped below the horizon ending the perfect afternoon photo session.

This was the kind of photo session that kept me thinking about how special it is to join a family for the afternoon and be part of their world. Seeing San Pedro through the eyes of Alexandria and her adorable twins was an amazing and unforgettable experience!
